We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to take on the position of Head of Business and Computing to join an OFSTED graded &#39;Good&#39; Academy located in North Hykeham, Lincoln. This is a role which will allow the successful candidate to grow and develop within the Academy while taking on greater responsibility. You will be working closely within a team to promote a positive ethos in classrooms and across the faculty to ensure a stimulating learning environment.

*Are you an experienced Business or Computer Science teacher searching for a brilliant opportunity for progression?

*Do you have experience teaching Business or Computer Science at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 level?

*Do you have the ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team?

Key Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Working with the SLT, to be responsible for continuously improving the quality of teaching and learning in the faculty.</li>
	<li>To support, hold accountable, develop and lead a team of staff to ensure high standards of teaching and learning and the wellbeing of staff and students within the faculty, so that students make appropriate progress.</li>
	<li>To provide effective leadership and management and thereby build and maintain an effective teaching team which continually enhances the quality of learning and achievement.</li>
	<li>Secure subject knowledge and understanding of pedagogy and practice in teaching, learning and assessment.</li>

What we need

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional full time Teacher of Psychology to join us in April 2024. &nbsp;The successful candidate will be looking for an opportunity to enhance their career in the classroom and have the ability to effectively develop their pedagogy and practice. Experience of teaching Psychology across KS4-5 is essential. &nbsp;In addition, you will need to be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile teacher with a passion for your subject and the desire to contribute to the development of the department and the Academy as a whole. The successful candidate will be an outstanding and passionate practitioner with a proven track record of securing successful student outcomes and developing the quality of your own teaching.

&nbsp;

The post would suit experienced teachers or ECTs, for whom an effective induction scheme is in place.

What we need:

Due to the continued expansion of the Academy and its learning support offer,&nbsp;we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our team in the Specialised Learning Centre (SLC). The role of the SLC is to ensure that all students achieve their potential and any barriers to learning are identified and supported. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to work with the SLC team to enhance the education of our students, provide support to students in the classroom, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis, and have a flexible approach to be able to respond to the changing needs of our students.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

The ability to work flexibly across all age groups and subject areas, and the confidence to deal with challenging behaviours is essential for this role.

&nbsp;

The ability to offer First Aid support or to be willing to undertake First Aid training would be desirable.

&nbsp;

Previous experience of working with children with special educational needs is desirable, but not essential.

	<li>Good working knowledge of ICT</li>

	<li>An existing First Aid qualification or a willingness to train</li>
