MyLocal and Stonebow Media, Lincolnshire’s leading organisations in digital news and events, are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. We're looking for someone who's experienced in the field of sales, proactive, keen to follow-up and close down any opportunity, and capable of achieving excellence in customer service while meeting KPIs. If you're a self-starter with a talent for building rapport with customers and an innate drive to maximise profits, we’d love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales revenue, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships. They should have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as a strong customer service orientation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships and creating win-win partnerships, and will bring their creativity, energy, and drive to enhance business growth and achieve results.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with new and existing clients
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations to potential clients
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Negotiate and close partnership deals, including terms, agreements, and contracts
  • Provide ongoing support to partners, including regular communication and problem resolution
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our products and services
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports using our CRM system
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales-focused partnerships, business development, or a related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box to find new partnership opportunities
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive results
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and partners simultaneously
  • Must be able to travel across the focus territory Greater Lincolnshire
  • Knowledge or experience in the media industry is highly desirable but not essential
